Tim Holman, BA, EMT-P, CFO, has an extensive background in health-care management and is a 31-year veteran of the fire service. He
is the chief of the German Township Fire and EMS in Clark County, Ohio. In 2002, he was named as Fire Chief of the Year by Fire Chief
Magazine. He has written numerous articles and three books on management.

Dr. Alfredo Vigil has 30 years of extensive
clinical and management experience specializing in family medicine, geriatrics, emergency medicine and reproductive health issues.
He has worked in private practice, community health centers, hospitals and other non-profit organizations. For the past five years,
he was chief executive officer of El Centro Family Health, a non-profit primary care organization in Española. Throughout his medical
career, Dr. Vigil has been actively involved in community service, volunteering for EMS programs throughout Northern New Mexico and
serving on the boards of numerous community and public organizations, including the Community Wellness Center in Taos and Voices for
Children in Albuquerque. Governor Bill Richardson appointed Dr. Vigil in June 2007 to serve as secretary of the New Mexico Department
of Health, the largest state agency. The Department of Health works with New Mexicans to prevent disease, prepare for health emergencies,
promote sound health policy, protect vulnerable individuals and provide support and advocacy to individuals with disability.
You may know Dr
Kevin Fitzgerald as the star of Animal Planet’s "Emergency Vets," but there is much more to him than what has been seen on television.
In addition to his duties as a full-time veterinarian and a large number of speaking engagements on the lecture circuit, Dr Fitzgerald
has also been performing stand-up comedy on an almost nightly basis since 1986. He is a regular at the famed Comedy Works in Denver,
one of the top ten clubs in the country. His rapid paced, one-liner style, combined with his ability to entertain without offending,
have made him a highly requested act at clubs, colleges and corporate events throughout the country.
Kevin has had the privilege of
opening in concert for such legendary performers as Diana Ross and Bob Hope. While these experiences may have intimidated many entertainers,
Dr Fitzgerald has a long history of working with some of the biggest stars in the world. Prior to attending vet school, Kevin was
a bouncer for none other than The Rolling Stones. In fact he was on tour with the band when he had a conversation with Keith Richards
regarding his future. "When someone like Keith Richard’s tells you to go back to school and make something of yourself you listen."
Kevin did. The rest is history.
Keith Wesley, MD, FACEP, is an emergency medicine physician in Eau Claire, Wis. He is the past chair of the Physician Advisory Committee
to the State of Wisconsin, which sets EMS medical practice standards for the state, and is currently on the Wisconsin EMS Advisory
Board. He is the author of many articles and EMS textbooks and is a frequent speaker at EMS conferences across the nation. He is an
active EMS medical director, currently providing medical oversight to the Chippewa Fire District in Chippewa Falls, Wis.
Colin Whitmore, Life Member / EMS Commander, Virginia Tech Rescue Squad, Blacksburg, VA
The Virginia Tech Rescue Squad (VTRS) is a
volunteer student organization that was founded in 1969 by four Virginia Tech students. VTRS provides advanced life support care utilizing
two ALS equipped ambulances and one BLS equipped first-response vehicle. The primary service area of VTRS is the campus of Virginia
Tech and other University buildings.
Gary E. Wiemokly, MPH, EMT-P, RN, EMS-I, is the EMS Section Chief for the Connecticut Department of Public Health. He is a patient
care provider, educator, administrator, and EMS Coach with over 30 years experience in EMS as a paramedic/firefighter, flight nurse/paramedic,
EMS Educator, and EMS Service Director. A contributor to EMS journals and a research reviewer, his combined love of EMS and unique
teaching style has allowed him to speak to EMS professionals regionally as well as nationally.
David I. Page, MS, NREMT-P, is a speaker, author, consultant and researcher currently teaching Emergency Health Services at Inver
Hills Community College in Minnesota. He is also an Emergency Paramedic with Allina Medical Transportation Services in Saint Paul.
David serves on the Board of Directors for Augsburg Academy for Health Careers and is the webmaster and chair of the web committee
for the National Association of EMS Educators. David was born in Mexico City, Mexico. He attended French Lycée in Mexico before moving
to Washington, DC to pursue educational and career goals. He is fully fluent in English, French and Spanish.
Mike Grill, MS, NREMT-P, is the Assistant Director of Allied Health/EMS Programs for Cochise Community College in Sierra Vista, Az.
Mike retired from the Sierra Vista Fire Department after 22 years of service. He has been active in EMS since 1985 and has authored
numerous articles for Fire and EMS trade journals. Mike has served as an instructor at the National Fire Academy and has been asked
to speak at over 100 conferences across North America.
Dwight A. Polk, MSW, NREMT-P, is the Paramedic Program Coordinator at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and is a familiar
face at conferences around the country. In addition to being a full-time educator, he is an active participant in Emergency
Health Services who believes there is more to EMS than IVs and medications.
Connie Mattera, RN, MS, TNS, EMT-P, is the administrative director for the Northwest Community EMS System in the Chicago area and
a trauma nurse specialist coordinator for the Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Ill. She is also an EMS section editor
for the Journal of Emergency Nursing.
Dr. Craig Jacobus is an EMS Trainer and Education Consultant with Peak Performance Consulting is the Coordinator for PHTLS Region
3 in Schuyler, Nebraska. Dr. Jacobus has been in Emergency Medicine, both in and out of the hospital, since 1975. He teaches thousands
nationally in the areas of trauma, emergency medical and clinical medical education. He is a featured national speaker and a well-known
educator in the area of pre-hospital trauma. Currently, he is an instructor with many medical and education institutions in Nebraska
and continues to teach the ‘EMS family’ nation-wide.
Norm Rooker, EMT-P, Lecturer & Educator, is a popular speaker on the national EMS, fire & rescue lecture circuit. Norm has
served as faculty for multiple EMT, Paramedic and Fire Science training programs in both the industrial, community college and university
settings. He has been a Heavy Rescue Instructor for the California State Fire Marshal’s Office, an EMT-T and is a member of his department’s
surf and cliff rescue teams and technical rescue committee.
Robert E. Sapien, M.D., Chief, Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, University of New Mexico, has been in Pediatric Emergency
Medicine for 19 years and is Director of Emergency Pediatric Medicine at University hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, He is recognized
as a national expert in emergency asthma care and school emergencies. As a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, he incorporates hypnosis
in the care of children in the Pediatric Emergency Department. He serves on the Board of Directors for the International Registry
of Medical Support Hypnotherapists and also has an active hynotherapy practice, which specializes in medical hynotherapy referral
and consultation.
Craig Rhyne, MD FACS, has more than 26-years experience in emergency medicine, He serves as the lead trauma surgeon
at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Rhyne is the Medical Director for AeroCare aeromedical service and has spent the
last ten years as the Medical Director for EMS Region III. He has extensive experience working with EMS and emergency room
personnel in developing a cohesive emergency care system.

Ryan Lewis, MD, NREMT-P, is a physician and surgical resident at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, TX. He has been
a licensed paramedic for ten years now with over six years of experience with Lubbock EMS. He also has been a police officer
for 8 years and served on the Lubbock County STAR team for all 8 years (although he took admin leave for medical school and now serves
in an administrative position rather than operational). The Special Tactics and Rescue Team (STAR) is a team of tactical paramedics
fully integrated into Lubbock County SWAT teams both local and federal. Lewis performs clinical clerkships in areas such
as EMS medical direction at the FDNY working with the medical directors of the largest EMS system in the world and working specifically
with the Haz-Tac and Rescue Medic programs in the FDNY as well as a forensic pathology clerkship with the Broward County Medical Examiner's
Office to name just two. His interests are obviously EMS, tactical medicine, disaster medicine, and trauma.
Greg Wolf, EMT-P, has been a paramedic for 22 years. He has worked in various settings such as the fire service, hospital, and
aeromedical areas. Most recently he was the clinical manager for Cypress Creek EMS in Houston. Presently he is employed as a
clinical specialist for ACSI.
